Late Master Jih-Chang has never practiced Dorje Shugden rituals. He also strictly forbade the Bliss and Wisdom monastic community from practicing Dorje Shugden rituals. The Tibetan scholars and teachers that Master Zhen-Ru receives guidance are primarily the learned Buddhist masters from Labrang Monastery. Within the lineage of Labrang Monastery, Dorje Shugden rituals has historically never been practiced. As such, Master Zhen-Ru and the Bliss and Wisdom monastic community have abided by Master Jih-Chang's teachings, and have never practiced Dorje Shugden rituals.
